Human Resource Analyst

We are currently seeking a Human Resource Analyst to join our team. The position is a Part-Time hourly position, which may evolve into a Full-Time hourly position for the right candidate in the future. WE ARE NOT recruiters or an IT Staffing Agency, this is not a contract position. Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Essential Job Functions:

  • Assisting department in carrying out various human resource programs and procedures for all company employees.
  • Protecting the organization's value by keeping information confidential, including the confidentiality of employee records and payroll information.
  • Participating in benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, notification and communication with employees.
  • Participating in recruitment efforts, including scheduling, interviewing and management of interview paperwork.
  • Assisting with new-employee orientations, background checks, reference checks and new hire paperwork.
  • Assisting in improving manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems; evaluating potential solutions; implementing selected solution; and coaching managers and employees.
  • Preparing Periodic and Annual Review paperwork and relays to the appropriate manager for completion.
  • Maintaining employee files in compliance with applicable legal requirements and conduct annual file audits.
  • Complying with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; and advising management on needed action
  • Managing PTO requests and ensuring they are entered appropriately at all required areas.
  • Assisting with the coordination and documentation of employee equipment inspections.
  • Coordinating employee milestone observances.
  • Verifing I-9 Documentation and maintains all records to current standards.
  • Assisting with the processing of Employee Terminations.
  • Assisting in organizational training and development efforts.
  • Assisting in the creation of training and development content for the company.
  • Maintaining Human Resource information system records and compiling reports from the database as needed.
  • Participating in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars as required.
  • Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
  • Performing other related duties as required and assigned.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications and Experience:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in an Administrative or Human Resource function is preferred but not required.
  • Understanding of modern Technology environments is required
  • A Degree in Human Resources or Business Management is preferred but not required.
  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation
  • Proficiency in or knowledge of using a variety of computer software applications, especially Excel and Microsoft Word Software.
  • Experience successfully managing a varying schedule and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Experience excelling in a dynamic culture that requires adaptability to changes in procedures, processes, technologies, responsibilities, assignments, schedules and unknown evolutions of team requirements.
  • Possess exceptional written/verbal communications skills, presentation skills, organizational time management skills
  • Self-disciplined, diligent, and have good work ethics.
